Let’s piggy back off the post on A New Thing when we started to ask ourselves the tough questions from Michael Hyatt’s book Your Best Year Ever.
You might have listed some of your disappointments and regrets and this may have gotten you down. As you look back at this year you might be beating yourself up because of your failed resolutions (I know I did). But don’t let this be the case!
There is an opportunity hidden in your disappointments and regrets. As you look towards to new year, ask God to show you how to turn things right side up.
I did just this by starting with the LifeScore Assessment found here https://assessments.michaelhyatt.com/lifescore/assessment/. As I evaluated each area of my life and saw the areas in which I was disappointed in, I prayerfully made a plan to correct.
I then followed Hyatt’s steps and created SMARTER goals for each area. Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Risky, Time-Keyed, Exciting and Relevant. I identified my motivation, my why behind each goal, found my accountability partner and established a system! I am ready and excited for what 2019 has to offer. How about you?
