Keep Calm and Pray On

As mothers we need to just breathe to keep ourselves calm, but how do we do that?   I read an article that identified four simple steps:

  1. Identify your triggers
  2. Pause
  3. Make a Plan
  4. Join the Madness

My triggers include: yelling kids, Mondays, work deadlines, spending 4 or more hours on the computer, two weeks before my cycle, not getting enough sleep, not exercising, not drinking enough water…. O.K.  maybe that’s too much! But one definite plan for the triggers besides breaking some bad habits is to take a moment to say a prayer.  I don’t always do this but this week I am giving myself the challenge.
