Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of it all we forget that our most precious gift is our children. Sure the world would have us believe it’s a degree, our job, money, house and other material things but it isn’t that, it is our child.
We are not called to spoil them with gifts as the latest commercials would have us think, but we are to take care of them, teach them and instill in them faith in God who will always be with them.
Our children are suffering…not from bullying but from a lack of knowledge of our God who is bigger than any bully.
As this scripture says, when we don’t do right by them…it is better that a milestone be placed around our neck. Woa!!!
I am preaching to myself this morning. Lord help me to remember my most precious gift.
