Psalms 37:3 Trust in the Lord

“Trust in the Lord”

We could stop right there.

Such a simple statement with such a powerful message.

This morning I had my own mini battle with trusting God.  Here I am, trying to walk in His steps and get a handle on my finances (getting out of debt) and the crown to my tooth pops off while I am flossing.  Do you know how much a crown costs!!!

I praise God that I didn’t swallow it nor did I loose it down the drain.  It’s going to cost to get it cemented back on and I don’t know what the cost will be BUT guess what… I am trusting in the Lord.

We will each have a scenario, a test as to whether or not we will trust God.  Our reaction to the situation indicates our trust or lack thereof.  If we are quick to fret, get upset or are easily discouraged, we show that we don’t really trust God to handle it.

Today, I am embracing trust.  I am going to Trust in the Lord, do good and I know He is going to provide for my needs.

Will you trust Him today?

Today, as we write Psalms 37:3 on our hearts, let us ask God to help us trust Him in all situations.
